A picture for you (one of the S. rectas!)
A flower and weed chop walk: The flowers have been outstanding, and the weeds are not too bad, but growing well. We can walk towards the first dam (about an eighth full!), chopping weeds enroute, then go towards ACTEW line and go back towards Sulwood! Our hard work covering many Swainsona rectas with branches has really saved them from the roos, and about 50-100 appeared to have flowered, with seed capsules. Covering all the Brachychitons with dead branches have also helped keep roos away or actually stopped them eating the top leaves. There have been some good walks on Taylor and the Molonglo area; the Wed walkers on Taylor last week were great and identified some new plants, and up dated our list. If you want a new list of our botanical riches, I will e-mail the new list! Its quite remarkable.
Anyway, see you
